Above: Get inspired – from farmers to chefs to artisans, here are just some of the South Floridians who are part of our culinary scene.

We've seen your IG accounts: you know how to take great food shots and videos. Now, put those chops to work and make a one- to two-minute video of Miami's multicultural culinary scene – you could win a cool $3,000!

Sponsored by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with Cinevisun and Black Film and Media Group (BFMG), the #MiamiFilm Month video contest is calling on filmmakers to showcase their favorite dishes and foodie spots in heritage neighborhoods, including Little Haiti, Little Havana, historic Overtown, Coconut Grove’s Village West, Downtown Miami, Wynwood and more.

'Miami has such diversity of food unlike any other," says Madeleine Paredes of the CVB. This contest will highlight that diversity through the eyes of the filmmaker, she says, and it's a good opportunity for filmmakers: The winning film will be featured at the Miami Short Film Festival in November 2016.

But act now: the deadline is June 6. Once your video is submitted, be sure to spread the word, and encourage your friends and family to vote for your video. In addition to the grand prize of $3,000, there's a first prize of $1,500 and a second prize of $500. Winners will have their films screened on June 30 at 7pm at the Little Haiti Cultural Center.
